Bi The Way

Our monthly social meetup for our bisexual and pansexual members at safe LGBTQ+ space in Blackfriars. Every fourth Monday, 6.30 - 8.00 pm and is facilitated by the following trained volunteers -

Sophie (she/her) lives in north London with her partner, in a flat filled with houseplants and books. Sophie has been working in policy and politics for almost ten years. Outside of work she enjoys gardening, hiking, going to the gym, and cooking while singing along (off-key) to music from the 60s and 70s.

Maddy (she/her) lives in east London with three lovely housemates and far too many houseplants. Maddy works to improve media representation of trans matters. Outside of work, she spends most of her time swimming, cycling, painting and doing her best to fill the world with queer joy!

K (they/them) is a writer and translator living in East London, whose work often explores queer families and mythologies. (They also have a past life in international business management and team leadership.) K is a member of Gendered Intelligence’s GIANTS program, is an active participant in the Tower Hamlets LGBT Forum and performs in venues across London as the drag king TrucK. When they're not busy telling stories, you can probably find them cooking, dancing, or off wandering England's coastline.
