Bi The Way

Fourth Monday of every month - 6:30 to 7:30 pm

Our monthly social meetup for our bisexual and pansexual members, in person and online (alternating each month) and facilitated by the following trained volunteers -

Amy (she/they) lives in North London with their two lovely housemates who enjoy regular visits from the cats next door. Amy currently works in the NHS as an Assistant Psychologist and hopes to train as a clinical psychologist in the future. She says that "one of the best things about being LGBTQ+ is the friendships and bonds I’ve been able to make with other members of our community. This is why I wanted to work with Opening Doors and I’m really excited for us to build a wonderful space with the Bi The Way group!”

Maddy (she/her) lives in east London with three lovely housemates and far too many houseplants. Maddy works to improve media representation of trans matters. Outside of work, she spends most of her time swimming, cycling, painting and doing her best to fill the world with queer joy!

K (they/them) is a writer and translator living in East London, whose work often explores queer families and mythologies. (They also have a past life in international business management and team leadership.) K is a member of Gendered Intelligence’s GIANTS program, is an active participant in the Tower Hamlets LGBT Forum and performs in venues across London as the drag king TrucK. When they're not busy telling stories, you can probably find them cooking, dancing, or off wandering England's coastline.
